Can I use this for my av? My 3 yr old son loves him and I mean LOVE. lol. This is cool!
Haha, no problem! Id love to see the Ninja, by the way.
Im sort of just getting into pixelrate, seems like a pretty awesome place really!
iSTVAN:
thanks so much for all that C+C! Most of that stuff you pointed out was mentioned at pixelerate, and I have made an update on him - i'll post it up here a little later. as far as the arm goes - yeah, your right. I hardly ever do small pieces, so this was mainly a practice to see how precise i could get with anatomy with a little amount of space. As a result, things dont look as good as i had hoped such as the limp arm. meh - i tried.
Spidey:
uhh... yeah - just keep on doing your thing... I wont bother ya.
Everybody else:
thanks a bunch everyone for your nice input... if this sparks any interest this piece originally was going to be a ninja and was almost finished that way, but then it turned into spiderman. I'll post the ninja if you want.
Lovely piece! Awesome colours, sweeet pose and great muscle defination.
Its hard to find anything wrong with this...but I'll try. No matter how much I look at it, it still looks like Spidey is wearing a high heel! I'd fill in the gap between the ground and the base of his foot, otherwise he looks slightly draggish or need of an orthotics! Infact the more I look at it the more the far leg seems out of place, as if the shading has brought it forward too much, placing it parallel with the other leg. Weird I reckon..
Ialso find his right hand and arm seems to look a little awkward, as if he doesnt know what to do with it, being so muscular and heavy. The hand itself actually lookes quite small compared to the other signature pose hand. I wouldnt know what to do with this, as its already quite tight.
Really enjoying your work, I just didnt feel like I earned the look without trying to help in some way.
spider man, spider man, friendly neiborhood spider man. another amazing pixel work
