This one was an experiment with dither. I dithered a bit on #8, but this one was a lot of practice. I also wanted to use some dither that wasn't just checkerboard.
This one actually looks pretty cool on most backgrounds, although it looks very different on a white, a mid-gray, and a black. Does anyone think I should show this submission with all 3 variant backgrounds?
Light source on the left, I think I screwed up the left wing's light source a lot.
I removed the back things and the orb because I couldn't think of a good way to dither them and I didn't want to do any ambient lighting.
