Second part for Pixeldam project ...

3 rd part is here
1 st part is here

Animation isn't best with 10frames. If I add 5 new /for 1 turn of the wheel/ the file will go up too much, but I have some limit !

The colours are too many, but with so many corrections of the colours ... now can throw away some of them :(

I prefer to put as finished work and to jump in next, but if somebody find some problems will repair them ... I dislike some parts as shadows, left walls, trees and some other.

Thanks to all suggestions in forums.

I'm very gratefull to everybody who correct me !

One of the most impressive isometric pieces and you are creating very good iso pieces too. The only thing which is bothering me is the animation of the mill-wheel (pins are buggy) and the roof in front of the garret door with the balcony has perspectific issues but except from that it really inspired me and it's still inspiring me and it's perfect.

beautiful work

MMM103 you aren't right ;)

if the water fall from up than the spring will move in another direction, but if the stream water push the lower part of the spring than the direction is right.

some example is here:

I really do like this piece. The rendering of the hay on the roof is very nice.
The only thing is that the trees look more solid than organic.

user
babu (Level 1 Thug) @ 2/11/2009 22:01

user
Kyrislian (Level 1 Depressed) @ 8/7/2008 08:29
I very much love this piece. I find the colours very bright and vibrant, and the details you have are amazing. Such as the squirrels chasing each other, the small animations, the movement of the waters and so on.

There's just the teeny problems with the details as voiced above, but that's just that. Teeny problems :)

user
JayCain (Level 1 Intern) @ 8/6/2008 18:52
This is a wonderful piece. The water animation is particularly beautiful.

user

Very nice water effects dude.

user
Larwick (Level 8 Regional Boss) @ 8/4/2008 16:25
I think your trees really let this down. Otherwise it's fantastic. They look extremely flat and pillowed - which is strange, because they shouldn't really. I don't know the first thing about iso though, so i imagine it could be quite hard to get that kind of thing right.

Ok so i just checked out your previous part of the Pixeldam project, in my opinion the trees from there look fantastic. It makes sense you're trying to vary how the trees look, but i think the general pixelling ideas from them could be brought forward.

But great stuff. :)

Darth Mandarb (Level 10 Operative) @ 8/1/2008 17:22
Really beautiful/deep work here!  The "life" it has is very impressive!

The only thing that caught my eye as a problem are the inner planks on the water-wheel ... they feel like they skip up/down a bit and don't feel in perspective with the wheel (but that's just nitpicky on my part).

Really good stuff!  +fav and 7/7 from me (and that's VERY rare for me to give!)

user
skeddles (Level 11 Psychopath) @ 8/1/2008 13:54
Very nice, love all the little details.
