I like it, the pulsing action is cool, insect like. But honestly, those wings suck. not trying to be a dick or anything just want those wings to look better!

very nice.  The eye seems to move more than the surrounding area and as the focal point, is a little distracting.  Also, the top of the head  widens a bit too much.  But you are very much on the right track here.
