The leafs in this piece are awesome, great use of 14 colours

Zweckform (Level 1 Intern) @ 1/21/2009 12:56
Like the use of colours, dithering and feel. Shadows don't match lightspot though. Nice overall anyway.

hotnikkelz (Level 1 Rookie) @ 11/10/2008 22:10
simply amazing, u also gmv

vierbit (Level 1 Rookie) @ 11/10/2008 15:48
You are probably right on the tomato, but I think the pear looks actually not that flat.

Yes, I tried ;) .But the brightness of the colors is a bit unbalanced in this palette. And no, the blue doesnt work as a bridge here ,imo.

Yeah, but I like shiny stuff :P

rabidbaboy (Level 4 Shichikyu) @ 11/10/2008 15:46
Nice to see you uploading stuff.
I second the uploading of old stuff, man. People could still stand to learn from t\your older pieces.

I don't know about the purple used as an in-between, seems too harsh. I guess that's not much your fault as the palette choice.

Really enjoying the leaves.

pixelaro (Level 1 Rookie) @ 11/10/2008 12:39
Very nice as always. Of all the artist I've seen that started out at pixelation you're the only one whose style seems really influenced by Henk nieborg, and thats a big compliment from me as he is my favorite pixel artist.
My only crit has to be that the top left leafs and wine seems to lack depth compared to the rest and as it's against such a dark background just there it stands out too.

crooks4hire (Level 1 Rookie) @ 11/10/2008 09:42
My only crit is that the blueberries look kinda radioactive due to the glow on the apple. Maybe tone the glare down a bit, other than that, I hope to aspire to work of this caliber

schrumpfkopf (Level 4 Team Leader) @ 11/10/2008 06:25
sehr sehr geil. leaves are shweet bla bla, only thing im not too fond off is the dither but that's just me.

ptoing (Level 7 Underboss) @ 11/10/2008 05:42
Nice use of the colours. The only thing I could crit is that some places could use some more aa. Like the yellowy orange to the dark red on the shadow. That could be done with the brigther orangish colour. Or in places the dark green and purple could be bridged with the blue, no clue how well that would work tho. Chances are you tried :)

elend (Level 1 Rookie) @ 11/10/2008 00:24
This is very nice. Love the colors and the dithering. Keep'em coming!

mrduke (Level 2 Flatfoot) @ 11/9/2008 21:54

Lovely work! Fav! 1 place!

F!zz!ks (Level 1 Intern) @ 11/9/2008 12:15
Brilliant work really.

Badassbill (Level 10 Maniac) @ 11/9/2008 02:53
My only crit is that the shine on the pear and tomato make them seem flat or oddly shaped, because the shine is curving in an arch upwards instead of downwards (which would follow the fruits shape). Great use of the palette, especially on the leaves.

TheFox (Level 1 Seaman) @ 11/8/2008 22:05
I really like this style. Good job :)

jalonso (Level 11 Godfather) @ 11/8/2008 21:19
Really impressive use of the set colors, fair amount of them all. The most unique so far.

Igor K. (Level 5 Soldier) @ 11/8/2008 18:01

vierbit (Level 1 Rookie) @ 11/8/2008 16:09
Personally I hesitate a bit to simply repost my older works here. But let me see, I could probably post a few of my best here.

Are you sure? I know the shading make it look a bit bumby, but thats more a stylechoice to make it more interesting to look at.

tomic (Level 11 Admiral) @ 11/8/2008 16:08
