further posting of old stuff...

A mockup from an horizontal shoot´m´up game.
Sadly, only the graphics in the first mockup were used, but I had my fun with it regardless.
Its the same project as http://pixeljoint.com/pixelart/37246.htm
Also its already very old(somewere in 2006), so there some mistakes/errors in it.

 This is beautiful work. Your gallery is full of awesome stuff and you work professionally in pixel art as well I assume you must have some good teachers for this. Can you point me towards any kind of material that helps me understand the basics of making game assets using pixel art? Thanks

Haha, I'm glad you listened to people telling you to post old stuff.

Not only well-pixelled, but very well-designed. When it comes to designing, I'm really an empty well. So if you could give even some pointers on the process, I would really appreciate.

Those concrete blocks on the forest mockup are going to be the reason I'm faving this though. Idk why, so simple, yet so effective.

The forest mockup looks a tad empty, and the bottom mockup seems to be messy in a few parts. Overall amazing, though, you're really talented. =D

Man, its a real shame that only the generic asteroid/space station was used, that forest especially would've shined, anyway, great stuff, even if it is old.
