I guess he would've made a grid in excel and somehow used it as a reference to make sure the squares on the cube were all proportional. Maybe.

Anyway, good improvement, but I was kind of expecting something happening in the bg...it still doesn't really feel finished to me.

Sweet! I remember seeing the unfinished piece and thinking, "Man, I wish he had finished it!"

I like how there's a ladder in the WIP when you're making the head, heh. I'm sure that wasn't originally why you put it there, but it's a neat little extra none-the-less.

My only gripe would be the lack of something in the background... even then, the sculpture is just so good, it doesn't matter that much. :P
