OMG this looks awesomeness!
Btw why are the headcrabs green :O
you would be surprised on how easy it is to work under the NES restrictions, actually. it may look confusing with all the specific technical details and such, but once you get the color work right, you can lay the rest on the programmer's shoulders.
oh yes, I know, I was just making a related comment. I remember checking out limitations of the NES, and was like, ok that's kind of confusing, then I got to SNES, and actually physically died.
I actually looked up your gallery to find your awesome avatar, but couldn't. I don't even know if it was the same as it is now. This is awesome too ^_^
the Crowbar equipped displays 999 ammo to represent it being unlimited. the rest of the weapons show their respective ammo limitations.
in theory, of course.
The SNES limitations are absolutely dizzying :/ Anyway this is cool. I wish there was a demake compo. I love demakes.
cool...I love half life on orange box. *take that zombies!*
My main concern when making this was the amoun of tiles i used to create the scenario. minus the sprites and the hud, i counted 35 diferent tiles for the enviroment. since i don't really know how many should be optimal or max allowed or recomended to use.
I think that a HL game would have more textures and a more dark style... but im not sure this is possible with the NES restrictions
those crates needs to die. and there's plenty crowbar to complete the task.
I'm an HF fag AND a NES fag so this is double the fun for me!
999 ammo??? How many unneeded crates did Gordon smash this time?
your preview would make a good idea for a collab/challenge.
super!
and it is possible to download?
