Let me guess, you like tanks and war machines? ;) Superb!
i friggin' love the background!
great tank work dude!
The detail on the tank itself is awesome, but the background completely absorbs my attention. I love it.
The tank is amazing and so well done even before you consider the fact that it is showcased on a beautifully rendered seamless environment to boot. Excellent job and well done!
This is seriously the best pixel art I have ever seen, not including Colossal Katamari. GREAT!!
A very good an clean job. Only thing that bothers be a bit, is that the cannons tip/neck before the tip seem a tad out of perspective other than that, great job!
The thumbnail doesn't do justice to this great piece. It is really, really nice.
And again! Thank you all guys for comments and FAVs.
Best regards!
Background looks fabulous and so does the tank, but I prefer vol. 3's style.
I just love the way you shade your machines. These pictures are just absolute beauties
it has that 90's sprite palette, like youd find on some snes or arcade game sprites.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
Translation: This is fuckawesome. D:
Oh man, this is quite good! Lighting is stellar! On the colors - I think they're great, they evoke a cold early morning look. The hazy horizon trees complement this, hinting at a morning fog; good use of dithering. Very good environmental effects. Love the perspective, too.
Why isn't the grass in the lower right corner out of focus along with the dirt? Doesn't fit.
This is the best piece i've ever seen on PJ, and I've been here for over 2 months...I'm...Speechless...
wow you managed to make 'unfocused' areas.... that is so cool...
@2tochkin ~ Interesting how personal preferance and style can be a big influence for such things. Since my first thought was no! It's not as crisp and lovely as the last one. Whilst Red (and many other's) first reaction was the opposit. ;D
As i said though, i really enjoy the mood of this one.
Thanks for your comments guys )
To Kindred: I think you really understand why I did such unfocused BG trees, and it makes me happy ;)
To heyy13: I really prefer crisp style of pixel works, but many people want to see it with AA ) (including Redshrike) ;), so here it is )
Actually, I use crisp lines for the decision of spatialness. (hope you understand what I mean).
About colors, sorry guys if you see "shit" colors in this work, I changed my monitor, so I have some changes in color properties (including temperatures of colors). So when I watched this image on an old monitor I saw very shitty colors (maybe you can see it too).
To iRey: Спасибо )
My first thought was "Yay! It's 4tochkin with anti-aliasing!" Actually, that's pretty much my thought right now. Awesome work!
Way better than youre old :)
But doesnt really look metallic
Nice pic:)
The tank doesn't feel as solid or heavy as the last one you drew. This one feels a bit soft and cuddly. The black lines on the treads feel a bit much, but maybe it's just me.
Great work on the background!!!
Love the unfocused background and the attention given to smaller detail, gives it a real touch.
Ok. Wait till I get my jaw back from the ground. I'm in awe. The colors are gorgeous.
This is pretty much insane. I don't comment all that much but this is really amazing. Well done!
I don't like the tank itself as much as volume 3, as i really liked the crisp lines and colours of that version. But this has a really moody charm of it's own, like your looking at everything through the mist of early morning.
amazing stuff, reminds me of those scorpions tanks from Halo xD the backgrpound is really well pixeled as well.
wow
