I finally found the time to improve the outlines a bit, as well as a few other things. Tell me your opinion on the new version!
I think the big solid block of the lightest color just has too much contrast - making it kinda stick out/appear to float in front of the sprite. Love the style his clenched fist is...beautiful I guess would be the right word.
He never went 40% in the series, but I'm planning to sprite his 80% and 100% form, if I find the time to do so (that's quite a task to accomplish )
Hey, no prob. Though I remember someone telling my that a solid outline (I outlined my sprites a while ago) ruins my sprites, so I'm kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place

I can't find any glaring problems. The aa works well to get that cel-shaded anime style. The ribs are a bit too emphasized. 6/7, want to see more from you. :)
