So clean and attractive. You're one of those guys that has a very focused style and doesn't need to try to consciously maintain visual style continuity, it just happens, huh?
I am currently, slowly, involved in a game project with a very talented programmer. We both have college to deal with though, so between that and a part time job things just kinda get done when there's a little free time and motivation to spare.
Amazing work!
Ha... :O There is this user named PanicBomber, who certainly takes influence from you!
Behold the similarity in his boss-sprite compared to yours:

I'd count on it that the palette is same as yours in that one. He's also gotten comments about his works being sums of different styles that just are under the same palette. Hmh... Are you working on any game project btw? With your animal graphics the game would rock even with a simple coding :P
You're in luck? Because it doesn't. I don't quite remember what I picked. But it isn't tahoma. Mostly I just wanted something that was pretty plain and readable. And easy to antialias by hand.
This piece has so much charm. Nice Genesis-esque colors and GBA-esque art style. Now, if only it didn't use Tahoma for the font...
Man awesome graphics!!
Hey, i use MMF2, but the only thing that keeps me from finishing anything are the graphics...i'm more of a programmer than a spriter...
if you want i could do something to help, just tell me exactly "how" you want it to be, i'll make an engine...mabye you like it
'cause sure its too sad that these graphics dont go in an game...
My only complaint is how flat the trees seem. Other then that, this is absolutely wonderful. Great choice of pallete, everything is very readable, just lovely.
Wow, another great piece, K!
I thought only Hoshi Itsuki could capture this style so well! But you do it so consistently, and seemingly without effort.
I cannot even begin to express how much I love this GBA style (the greens, the blues, the simple yet evocative patterns) and how I'd play it in a heartbeat. In fact, if it were to be a real game I'd volunteer my programming skills to build its engine, without hesitation.
But for now, I'll simply vote for it enthusiastically! Thanks for the great piece.
i want to play this game! i love the blue castle.
i love the portrait. the rest looks great except maybe perspective of side view creatures (ie. their feet don't follow perspective) but maybe in game there would be platform levels which reuse sprites?
very very nice, i think the tress could have used some more work though, don't look as good as everything else.
Just wonderful!
Maybe the composition is a little bit off, I'd like to see a little bit more pixels of the bldg, at the expense of ground.
OMG. i would buy that. instantly.
want. to. play. NOW.
Jalonso, your avatar reminds me that it would be appropriate for me to do a halloween themed pixel sometime soon.
Nicely done! I've fooled with the idea of entering this but just cant seem to get it going to draw tiles. Great colors and stylish effects. The sand especially is simple and doesn't make sense but still somehow works, as are other parts, making for a really nice mockup. My votes on this, but then I dont think there were any other real completed mockups done
i ike the colors, and interface is great!
