Sorry, but no... I hadn't even noticed they were different... The tone you probably think of as yellow is rather greenish brown. (HSV: 61/73/66, RVB: 166/169/46, hex a6a92e, if this helps). You might replace it with HSV 50/100/95, RVB 242/202/0, f2ca00 which is a frank yellow, and then also change the darker green (HXV 79/66/40 RVB 81/103/35 hex 516723) for the greenish brown above.
Still, it looks yellow but not that much so, the skin tones being predominant. Guess that's what you want!
Also the highlights are strangely cyan (163/14/99, 218/254/244, dafef4).

It's not about the picture but the preview which is yellow-ish enough... isn't it?
You speak true words. However, I tried to use only colours from the palette used for the other sprites which didn't include any particular yellow but only greenish tones. Guess that sorta explains the cyan highlights as well..
