i think it was obvious to everyone that it's Jesus Christ.
great work, really. awesome to zoom into.
Oh, man, I hate when that happens. Just the other day I was doing some carpentry when the hammer slipped and I accidentally nailed both my wrists to opposite ends of the board I was carrying. Awkward!
I am impressed by how striking and poignant such a tiny vignette of feet is, and also by the way the description makes it suddenly hilarious. I was not expecting to laugh at such an image.
I like your funny description, and its more realistic than the 2000-years-old history XD, I love the refraction on the Nail
Wow. I'm not religious, in fact I disagree with religion. But this is great, the tone and texture, and the gore is brilliant. Let alone the anatomically correct feet and great colours. You got my vote.
I believe that the description and the name are just sarcastic and that it was of course meant to be Jesus Christ.
I'm not religious, but I would like to point out two things.
Perhaps some of you might not have noticed, but this
piece bears strong resemblance to Jesus Christ who
was crucified in almost the same manner.
Secondly, I would also like to point out that he was a
carpenter before he became the Jesus everyone knew.
So, I'm not whether it was intentional or not, but I'd like
to believe that this piece has a far deeper meaning behind
itself.
I love the idea, original. The blood and feets are excellent, but you should work a little bithard in wood and bg. Nice piece anyway.
Haha, Epic description!
Love this piece of art. Great textures and composition. Keep up the awesome work.
Fave'd
Awesome. Gotta say, the drops on the front foot look a little weird though. Everything else, great job.
I am so voting for this. You made a mind-blowing job!
The shading on the front foot is incorrect. Makes the foot look flat. Also, where's the ankle?
But the piece as a whole is very good :)
the concept is truly incredibly smart and great, i really didn't expect to see something so stunning behind the preview. still i think the background and the tree should be revisited.
I really, really really really, love this!
However, i think the blood under the right foot's (his left's) toes is a bit too much. Should really fix that Dx
Interesting. There's not really much of a sense of the bones/tendons in the ankle area of the upper foot though. Maybe that's just me.
This Is BLOODY Good Get It loll ..loll
I really Like this piece and its already ON My Voting List
I think everything looks great and the shading is very nicely done.
But I got to laugh about what you say this is. Idk, whatever.
I love this, especially the mixed perspective. I like how it shouldn't really work, because it's strange, and the subject matter is disturbing the two mix together really well. Got mahh vote.
it´s true something´s strange with perspective, but specially in the spike... I think the rest creates an interesting effect even if you leave it this way. Will look like an "older"painting
It awesome, but one thing. The spike should have entered the feet from above, and so you shouldn't be able to see the pieces of meat lifting upwards as if the spikes come from the plant.(I so verily hope that what I?m saying is clear!)
I think his feet was a little darker. And perhaps the blood is a bit too much on the second foot. But this is great I love it.
Transparent? I'm no big fan of it usually, but I think it could fit here.
Thanks for the crit, I'll try to adjust it this week!
The background is really kind of just filler. :P I have no real idea of what to put there... I figured it should be something that used the colors of the spike though.
The feet are just incredibly awesome. Details are perfect.
There are perspective and light issues. The angle of view of feet, spike and wood look all different and inconsistent; the lack of cast shadows further this.
Hiding most wood detail in deep shadow below the feet would help lots, perspective would then remain undefined; most of the lower foot except toe tips should be in shadow as well. The blood drips below the toes at left don't add much, and again should be dark.
What with bg?
terrific! I´m asking myself how do you make that shiny blood effect... You chose perfectly the colours for this, they remind to romanic paintings.
Funny idea!
