Like Karv said, it lacks readability and depth. The tiles also don't always line up right, such as on the very bottom edge, where it makes no sense for there to be only a sliver of the block. The bright contrast in the background distracts a bit from the piece as well.

 Eh, it lacks readability, as it is very monochrome. You can use some shades so it doesn't look like a paper and has actual volume.

Also, I don't really know why, but people around here don't like backgrounds if they aren't necessary.

Looks good! My only comment would be to add some more contrast so the stucture of the temple pops out more
