Weekly Challenge: A City in the Clouds
This graininess is rain, isn't it? Rain between clouds, and with some sun light rays... really beautiful. As I look at this picture, I like it more and more.
I like the graininess here, and I still think this is a really pretty piece. : )
I find the graininess to be distracting. I think that noise definitely has its place in pixel art, especially if you are trying to achieve a certain kind of texture, but that would be more effective if you were to contrast noise with more smoothly-defined areas.
Variety is the spice of life. ; )
