Hello, another movie poster. Day 3 of my 31 Days of Film challenge was Highlander, and I was sufficiently happy with the result to post it up here.

Okay, so a couple notes. i chose to silhouette him, yeah. I just thought it looked cool, even if it's not really logical over such a dark backdrop. The backdrop itself doesn't really look like clouds on mine, but again, I don't really care; even though I noticed that it wasn't cloud-like half-way through, I thought it had enough visual interest to keep it like this. Only thing I'm really concerned about is that there's too much of the white on the face, or that using white at all there is too bright.
9 colors, but one is the red of the text, so the actual pixel work is 8. Not the words are NPA, that is, just that I don't consider them to be a part of the piece. Like the last, I'll take crits, but unless they're easy to implement, I''ll just keept the advice in mind for te future. Took maybe 2 and a half hours.
If you're curious about what day 2 was, it was Aliens, and I'm just not fond of the poster enough to put it up. Today(the 4th) is Quantum of Solace, so maybe I'll like it enough to put it up, maybe not. We'll see.
EDIT: Oh yes, intended viewing is 2x or 4x. Probably 2x with this one, dithering looks kinda funny when it gets too blown up. |
Thanks so much!
