Gecimen nailed the crits, so I don't feel the need to reiterate them. Jist wanted to say that I came here thinking "Wow, that composition/pose with that character makes me think a lot of Scott Pilgrim." So nice job, it's certainly unrefined but it's pretty clever and the idea could really work if it got that bit of extra work.

Still, I beleive that you've got the skills to make much better works than this. You've tried to handle a very courageous pose but if you don't give it the effort required, you won't be fond of what you get. Lemme try to cover up what's wrong with this one: -Most shapes (except the torso of the girl) are off. It seems going back the 2nd time to that torso paid off. -Lightsource is all around. Not consistent at all. Highlights are in the wrong places. -Color palette is faltering. You've got 1 style on the shirt of the girl (which is good) and very saturated colors on other places. -Lots of banding, everywhere. -Inconsistent AA, the piece needs a lot more AA then you've applied.

I beleive with 1 or 2 hours extra, this could've been a much better piece and a fruitful practice.

Not to fond? I'm a beginner pixel artist and my work thus far is nothing as good as this. I love the work that you do and this one made me piss my pants laughing. Don't ever let yourself down, this one is good. As an artist you must always have confidence. My work so far is nothing great but with the confidence that I can get better is what drives me. This is great, and the penguin one you had made that I voted for was good to!
