A mockup for a shotem'up. I spent a lot of time trying to tweak the palette so that it would look at least fine on my monitor, on gthumb/icc and on my cell phone, but i noticed i was going to screw it, and i stopped.

Angel, all you have here is an image. You know nothing of the mechanics of the game.
How do you know the ship won't be able to endue multiple hits before bblowing up, or that there won't be power-ups to compensate the size of the screen, or that you won't be able to scroll 3 or 4 screens widths?
To anserwer to "IritateCorpse"; Yeah, it would shorly look great on an N-Gage, but I think it can be a bit distubing if you get blown up after five seconds, or crash in to an enemy ship as fast as you respawn.
beautiful work! i love the clouds- very realistic. the detailing is amazing, and the perspective is nearly flawless (except for below crits.) excellent work, i love it!
Thanks for the compliments :) The mockup is using nokia 6600 screensize. Yes the sprites are too big, but it was just a simple test. Next mockup will be more "real-world-of-gamers" compatible :)
No crit abot the picture itself , since its very great , but about the sice, if you make a game of this you might do it wider, if you see what I mean. If you can´t do that, I think you have to make the sprites smaller
Otherwise it´s to easy to get hit by the enemies and die!
