I'm very confused on this one. At first, I thought the eybrows were his eyes, making the facial anatomy very weird. Then after reading IIII's comment I figured that the grey beneath the glow on his brow was his eyes but they were shut, but now I am unsure if the light blue line are his eyes. Anyway, I made an edit for you that could help take the confusion away.

Wait what? If I recall right you can have multiple submissions to the challenge, so feel free to keep it in I think, as long as what cure mentioned doesn't disqualify it.
I like it. I think the only problem is the crystal actually reading as a crystal, and why it would glow. But cure is right, it seems that the focus isn't on the crystal on its own. Still, cool pixel stuff.
okay, please remove it from the challenge, I am working on something better, don't let it enter the challenge please otherwise I will have to remove it ok? thanks
looks like you've got a preview as the fullview file. personally I feel like the human figure is the focus here, or at least so essential an element that the piece is no longer about the crystal, but, at the very least, about the interaction between the man and the crystal.
I think it's the crystal pendant which is producing the light.
Oh... it's just that it still says "click..." on that actual artwork : /
