Totaly failed atempt of doing something like Helm did some days ago...Turned out kinda funny, in a weird way, so I decided to post it anyway... Used this as reference.

Ahhh...it´s old. I know it´s bad. I gave another try at this effect, it´s in my gallery as well...see it :)

I think what ruins the effect is the great jump in hue from the blue-green to orange and reddish colors.

i can't help thinking the highlights ruined this piece.
i understand that this was a long time ago.

Helm's technique of iridescence should not be easy to understand.
Btw your effect is not that bad for me!
Looks a bit metallic, it seems an esotic person with golden drawings on the face :)

Thanks for the comments guys! I don't know how you were able to recognize what I was trying to do, Shivers...This was, unfortunately, a huge failure...

I recognized what you were trying to do immediately, it looks decent to me :D You could "mute" a few of the effects in places though.

well i think it looks kinda strange as the brown parts are to dark for the places they are in.
