Thank you guys very much for the comments, I appreciate it! :)
@MrBailey Yeah I wasn't really sure about the stalactites on the bricks, but I wanted something hanging from them. I will eventually add moss or fungus to make it more realistic. The tileset itself is for a game project I've been coming up with over the past couple years. It's still mostly in the concept stages though.
@Elastico-Gadget I'm not sure what you mean about the water. It seems flat to me, haha. Maybe the two bricks at the bottom right make that end seem a bit shallower.
@Gwes I'd like to animated the water, but it will probably be very simple. Animation is certainly not my strong suit.
@MikauKahn I'll have to check that out, thanks.
I really love the colours you used for the tiles and the background is really cool even if I not sure of the colour choice for this part.
There is one thing that I find disturbing, the last layer of water at the bottom seem curved instead of flat, I guess it comes from the shore not being square but being curved itself. Or maybe it is the dynamic of the background that causes this effet. Anyway, lovely piece !
Pretty spiffy overall design. I especially like the patterning on the various platforms and the way that you manage to make things stand out clearly in spite of a very limited palette. The background, too, is solid and gives off a nice sense of depth.
The only negative I can spot at first glance is that the stalactites hanging from the platforms themselves contrast rather harshly with the texture of their surroundings. They work well for the roof of the cave, but with the different sort of rock you're using down below, it sort of stands out there.
Overall, this piece was well worth looking at. What sort of project is this tileset for, if I may ask?
Somehow this tiles draw attention and it is pleasant to watch them.
