DAWG this is good! I love the singular rock and sign... Looks like you could use the grass around the base of the trees to help blend in your grass bush tiles, they're the only things that kind of stick out. Fav'd!
It's finally starting to look like a game! Those clumps of tall grass are perfect, I really get the urge to chop them up.
It deninelty not you...
Actually the mixing was accident but I thought it was cool and I left it that way.. It seems bother a lot of people.. I need fix it later.. I love mixing colors but maybe it better I mix it more naturally like you said..
Thank you for advice!
real nice, makes me want to play and run around in that environment. I must admit though, that I don't like the mixing of the greens in the trees so much. at first I didn't even notice it and then I wondered, if there's something wrong and if some trees have it and some don't, so I checked with Photoshop. I think what bothers me are the combination of three things, which as a result makes it look like "accidently" to me: 1. trees look perfectly the same otherwise, but some have this thing different, some don't. 2. the "distribution". looks like it's just one half or a big streak or something. I would imagine it would look less forced/more natural if the hues were spread more randomly. 3. It's only a slight, almost unnoticable difference (at least to me, but maybe I have to have my eyes checked :D). such thing to me mostly looks like an accident. same goes for example for only slightly tilted lines, when you think: is it intention or was it supposed to be e.g. horizontal and just a mishap?
apart from that, great for me. maybe just me OCD :D
I think you'll be able to make the long grass look more natural with an intermediate height tile.
I wouldn't bother with curves, just a middle height to soften the transition; your call though
@Dr D
I would love to make game! But I need practise more :=)
@Mr.Fahrenheit
Thank you! I agree with you! I need make curve to my tall grass.. It looks too linear.
DatMuffinMan
Thank you <3
@ADrawingman
Thank you :)!!!
@Strom
Thanks :=)
@Cure
@nedink
Thank you guys very much! Greens mixing was actually coincidence :D It was not my intention but it looked cool and I wantend to leave it like that.. but maybe it is too much...
Thats why the tall grass looked so odd! Now I need fix it... Thank you guys!
I would love to roll around in this field. It's just so beautiful
I agree with nedink, the greens are currently relegated pretty strictly to their respective halves, and might look more natural if they were more interspersed, even if that means just one branch on the right half is warm.
also I really dig the texture on the path, the rupee-bushes, and the tall grass. A medium-length grass tile might fix the issue Mr.F mentioned.
This is absolutely gorgeous. I like the mix of greens on the trees as cure pointed out, but the longer I look at it, the more separated the greens seem to become. Maybe there is some better transitioning that could be done or something but its such a small difference that it's hard to know whether or not it's just me, though, idk.
Also, I love the tall grass but maybe you can use the type of tiling you did in the shade of the trees to make the tiles less obvious.
The tall grass is very tile revealing. Maybe just add some curvey tiles like you did on the road.
As others said. your trees are still fabulous as are the rest of the tiles!
Those trees are looking pretty damned good. I like the use of both warm and cool greens. Clean style, easy to read, kutgw. This has improved a lot since you began the tileset.
I think you are officially my favourite pixel artist <3
