Dude, thanks for the tips and the welcome. Yes my first language is Portuguese but nothing that a translator does not do, is not it? Anyway, I'll use your tips for my upcoming pixel art. Thank you again!
Generally good! I have two notes for you.
1) More colors is not the same as better AA! To a certain degree, it helps, but a fairly common misunderstanding by new artists is that more AA colors makes a transition even smoother. Unfortunately, after a certain point adding additional AA colors actually makes the edges appear blurry instead of smooth. It's a pretty careful balancing act. With such saturated colors contrast is harder to see anyway, so you could get away with removing a few of those colors, probably using maybe half as many grays. An easy color to remove would eb the dark grey on the black band of the pokeball, as it is almost invisible at a 1x zoom level. This isn't a really big deal though! It's a tough thing to get totally right and it doesn't affect the piece too much, but it's a valuable lesson to know for the future.
2) This is a small thing, but it's generally best to avoid AA on 45-degree angles (perfect 1:1 diagonals). It makes things a little cleaner. Specifically it would help to avoid it on the shadow, as the lighter color used for AA makes the shadow appear slightly thinner, which makes your light source seem a bit odd. Like I said though, this is a small thing.
Welcome to PixelJoint and I hope this helps! And if Portugese is your first language and you don't understand a term I used just let me know and I'll try and explain it better. :)
Awesome, glad I could help! And yeah, a translator generally does the job. I made that comment because I sometimes use some technical jargon (dithering, selout, etc) and I'm not sure if that translates well so I try to leave the door open for clarifications.
Enjoy your stay here, and I'm looking forward to whatever you make next!
