thank you very much for your input! I'm very happy to read your input lol.
I will note it and try improve it for my next piece
I like how I can feel the different material textures just from the way you shaded things. A couple little notes:
The skin around the face area looks kinda pillow-shaded. I think it's most because you felt like you needed to work up to the highest color on all the areas, and because you disregarded your lightsource a bit. Consider how the hair would cast a shadow over the face, especially since the light source seems to be the top left, and how the topography of a face would cast shadows. The face also might be a little bit over-antialiased.
The proportions are a bit off, especially on the arms. While cartoony styles mess with proportions, her arms look pretty short.
The patterned section of the, uh, skirt (? I know there's a name for that part of a suit of armor, but I don't know it) doesn't seem to follow either the curve of the fabric OR the lightsource of the piece. Of course, I don't begrudge you this - patterned fabric is ridiculously tough to get to follow the piece's curves, so don't worry much about that now. I just didn't want it to go unmentioned.
So yeah, there are a couple spots that should give you some things to keep in mind for your next piece, but I definitely liek this. I don't even know why but I keep being drawn to it. I think it's the patterns and textures. Keep it up, looking forward to see how you improve with your next piece!
Looks like you posted the preview twice instead of posting the full sprite. Looks like a nice one anyway.
I love this :D I specifically like the torso/hip shape, very slick. But the colllloooooorrrrs, I love the colors you've chosen :D
