Here's my slightly belated entry for tree week!  This took me about four days, but I was dawdling for juuust about all of that.  This has truly been an exercise in antialiasing.

I started out trying to draw a realistic tree, really, in the vein of the other amazing pieces by beetlekind and ADrawingMan, but somewhere along the line I started playing with colors and decided to scrap it and do something more in my style.  For this piece I looked up bonsai trees for reference, and tried to emulate a sort of Japanese ukiyo-e style, but with more colors.

I really love the icon representing this! Do you make avatars/logos? I'd love to have one made from you. PM me if you're interested. It'd be paid of course.

I can see it x4 on a wall.

Lovely, I love when stuff like this is done in pixel. Experimentation is always fun.

I agree with skeddles - not exactly sure if pixel art would've been my first choice of medium for a piece like this but I really like it nonetheless. Very relaxing to look at and a lovely  pastel-ish choice of colours. Would look great as a print on my wall at home!

Would look good on a wall.

Cool, but not sure if pixel was the best medium to do this piece in

gives me a watercoloury vibe, with crisper edges.Don't know if that makes sense, but I really like this piece. superb colors!

As usual, your control of those large broad clusters is awesome. ADrawingMan is right that if you're looking for it the AA pops out a bit in some areas, but overall it just leaves such a striking impression with its shapes and colors that it doesn't really matter to me. Really impressive.

Wow, those colours worked out really well, this is great! Only crit (or maybe personal preference) is that some of the AA sticks out a bit. Love your style though, it's really trippy and colourful.
