As I mentioned over on my blog, I've been working on a new concept lately.  As such, here's an updated character portrait for one of the characters: Ed, Arrogant Swordsman Extraordinaire.  Ed's pretty much convinced that he's the best thing since long before sliced bread.  His entire motive for existence is ensuring that he can become as famous as possible.  Fortunately for his goals, he discovers the sealed remains of an ancient devil, said to have sought world conquest - and, according to local legend, the hero who is able to unseal and command the power of the beast is destined to save the world.  

Unfortunately, said devil turned out to be not quite dead upon unpacking, and Ed shortly found himself sharing the seal with an ambitious and none-too-friendly demon by the name of Charlie.  Unable to break free under their own power, wannabe hero and wannabe evil overlord soon realize that they'll have to combine their strengths to be rid of one another once and for all!
