So this is my first submission on this site, but I've been stalking around this place for a while now and didn't really submit anything up until now.

When I saw this week's challenge, the first thing that came into my head was that Staryu that Misty owns in the anime, and then dressed it up in her clothes. It was such a stupid idea that it needed to be done for this challenge.

Some of the colors were borrowed from a Staryu sprite from the games, but had to select which to choose for this piece in order to meet the color restriction.

I really enjoy this perfect clean and yet complex work. The resolution is so low but the image is still so clear and fancy.

Thanks for the comments, guys.

In the end, Staryu was the perfect choice for this, because its color scheme surprisingly contained the right colors for the shirt and the straps. So the only thing I had to worry about were the remaining 2 colors for the pants, making it a total of 10 colors minus the transparency.

You are right - it is a stupid idea. But it's also a very funny idea, and one that you've executed very well. The lighting is very stark - befitting of the franchise. You've also used your canvas size well to show the whole subject.
