Hah! Fellow Mouse Guard fan I see? The game is indeed inspired by Mouse Guard, Redwall and NIMH. However it will be much darker and oriented towards adult audience. Gameplay is inspired by Quest For Glory series (RPG and adventure game mix).

Most of my upcoming artwork will consist of game assets as I need to create quite a lot of backgrounds and animated characters. I'll probably share more details about the game in descriptions of uploaded content :)

I like lots of Arne palettes found here: https://androidarts.com/palette/16pal.htm

Also amazing DawnBringer stuffs:

Right now I'm trying to work out my own palettes for use in a game I'm making. I have little experience in designing/picking palettes so I'm kind of nervous that I'll screw it up :P

It seems that it has worked! Thank You! :)

I'm somewhat surprised that "detail" version displays in the top and "small" version displays below where the header actually says "PIXEL ART DETAILS"

I guess that I'll have to get used to this :D

Great and brave usage of highly saturated colors (and pink! I wish people were less affraid of using pink!). I love the description as well - the last line is something I repeat quite often when I try to motivate myself :D

Yeah it's pre-zoomed for use as an avatar :) if there was an option for using zoomed in versions as an avatar I would simply leave it 1:1

As for the colors - I simply used the Pico8 palette. It guarantees interesting results and I love working with it. Great palette which belongs in hall of fame toghether with DawnBringer palettes :)
