This is a pretty solid anim- bonus points for it being a first attempt.  If you ever do revisit it, I'd suggest animating the head as well, since it sticks out the most.  But good job.

These look really good and the planes of the torso are well defined.  Maybe it's my laptop, but they seem to suffer from a lack of contrast, so I had to zoom in to see.
