LOOK AT HIM GO :O

OK, I have a question about this piece: how did you decide which of the dinos got feathers and which ones got scales? Is it a scientific accuracy thing or just vibes?

Scelidosaurus is my favorite of the bunch, I think.

I love this one - reminds me of one of my favorite PJ pieces...but with twice the fish to love.

This is really, really fluid - impressive at this scale! The way the legs straighten when he bolts up is really fun. I guess the black outlines here look a little jittery, particularly when he's looking to the (viewer's) left - maybe that could be fixed up a little?

God, I love the expression on that guy's face. Truly terrifying. The really bright red is a great color choice, too.

SUBJECT MATTER I LIKE: all sorts of bugs; classic horror monsters; Lisa Frank girly-girl rainbow vomit unicorn stuff; classic video game characters of ambiguous species (think Q*bert and Kirby)

SUBJECT MATTER I DISLIKE: landscapes; generic high fantasy; "realistic" military stuff and related hard sci-fi tropes

THINGS I REALLY LOVE TO SEE IN ARTWORK: unusual canvas shapes and framing elements; unusual color palettes

that's some smooth animation of the human figure (which makes the seal's jerkiness even cuter!)

The color perspective here is such a nice touch!

Oooh, I love the composition here (especially the little railroad + train in the background!)

Oh, I love these. Lots of really nice stuff on this one. I think the middle one is my favorite (although the seal version of The Nerd is pretty great)

Ooooh, that's a nicely rendered background, and Samus is very nicely rendered.

Ha! I love watching this jiggle. It's weirdly mesmerizing.

Bahaha, this one is real good - the little twitches of the eye/hand are great. Kind of wish there was slight movement elsewhere to match!

Can't hate a Petscii-adjacent piece - I think this one has some concentric circles going on without being obvious about it, which is nice.

I'm liking the motif here. The curves of the open pages are really nice looking.

Yeah, the horizontal ripples of the water contrasting with the harsh verticals of the castle are just (chef's kiss) gorgeous. Beautiful composition.

Oh my god, the little ghoul guy dodging the whip by lifting his head OVER IT!?!? I love this so much. I'm struggling to think of negatives. I guess the candle flame looks more like a solid object than a light source? Whatever, this is so cool that I don't care about that.

Holy crap, this is INCREDIBLE. I love everything about this piece - the texturing, the thickness of the outlines, the detail put into even the shadow, the color choices on the crab... actually, the crab-ness of this piece is what I love most about it. This dude really do be lookin' like a crab.

The texturing here is incredible - the soft gradients on the flesh tones vs the hard color clusters on the metal, and the way the former get shaded more like the latter where the "biotech" is most evident; the rendering of the hair; the almost subliminal hints of a... smirk? grimace? indicated with just four little pixels... just masterful. I love this.
