I agree with you, redoing the animation won't be too hard- it's only 8 frames. Once I can break away from other projects I'll revise the sprite.

There's a couple of books available at Hobby Lobby (or any of the craft store, I suppose), that are great stepping stones into animation. The books are called Animation 1/2 with Preston Blair.

They're not pixel related, but the tutorials and examples, are still pretty helpful.

Thanks for the help guys, I use to not include shading on my sprites which has become a bad-habit of the years. I'll fix the shading and re-upload the sprite.

Wow, I never new that card existed. lol

The legs don't match the torso in perspective, and this is making it look like he has one foot. The animation needs more frames, more movement in the feet, hands and head to better protray what he is doing.

I don't watch anime so I can't really give you a stronge crit on the shape of the character, but outside of that ver well done!

Very nice! I love the over all colors and lighting, although the animation of the flame feels "tacked on", like Dumbo said drop it and I think we have a winner!

I saw this on DA a while back, but couldn't comment on it.

I like it alot, although the shading on the beak of the bird feels out of place, and I have to agree with Dr. D, the Alligator's mouth should be 2D like the pigs snout, but other than that, great job!

Like on the thread at Stencyl, Glue's arms and the ball on his hat need to move.
