Inspired by prince of persia perhaps?[They just really look like some of the primary and secondary weapons from warrior within] Great stuff, i like the style.

I Have no idea why, but looking at this with the colors and everything reminded me of The Evil Dead series. Very nice, I love the character design, and the use of a copper-ish color almost throughout the piece gave it almosta zombie movie type feel. I may be completely wrong, but either way, i love it.

I Myself have issues with running/walking animations, or smooth movement in general, so i really cant tell you how to fix the un-fluidness of it, but i can tell you as a static, unanimated image, it looks great. If i could ask anything, it'd be to give the character a wee bit more contrast, as he seems as though he only has two shades of each color, when in reality he has more.

Hm, since recently i've been giving you alot of really in depth, detailed crits, i think i'm gonna give you something less wordy, reading all that criticism can be dull. It's a great piece, and whatever style you were going for, you nailed it. I Really love the scar on his cheek, it stood out and was really well executed. If i would change anything, it'd be to make the nose just a LITTLE bit bigger, it looks small in comparison to the face. I Love his eyes, full of emotion.

I see why you wouldn't be as excited about this piece as the others, but i think i may know how to fix it. First, i think it would do ALOT of good to make the hair a bit less random and to have more of a definite shape. Another thing, it appears to me as though you sketched in paint or whatever other program you used before you began smoothing it out into a finished piece, and it looks like you didn't really define (her) left arm as much as you could have. One last thing, and i dont know if this will help, but the cloak/cloth/whatever she's wearing could contrast a bit more from the skin, it looks like she's wearing a transparent...whatever you want to call it and that'd be a tad too revealing for a game.

Woah, Great piece, i love the style and colors you've been using on these pixels of yours. Aside from the fact that the animation could be a tad more fluid and even, it all looks really, really nice, i wish i had this sort of talent so i could do something similar with my mmorpg, but the colors just seem a bit too random when zoomed in for me to sprite something like this without a tutorial or something like a template-coughnothintingcough- to edit from.

I think i'm in love. Haha, kidding. She's cute, i really like the eyes, and lips. Overall, it was really well put together. If there's one issue i would have, it would be to add contrast, less dithering, MAYBE another shade, and some AA on the hair.

Love the piece, love the concept. Beautiful work. If i have any issues, it's the face that you could really use more contrast with less colors and you'd get the same effect.

Haha, yeah, i liked the hat too. Chaindog, to your comment, i really tried with the mustache, it just ended up looking like crap either way. The more i think about it, the more i want to animate it, so i think i may later on, if i get time. Basically, though, for other reasons aside from the duel, I made it to quiet all those mario and link fanboys that kept saying their favorite was better, but yeah, thanks for the comments.

This piece is just immaculate. Somehow you took every 12 year old artistic boy's cliche fan-character and turned it into this completely original, wonderfully put together piece of art. I dont think i could ever pull off anything like this. Great job. My only issue is the ear. I think towards the pointed tip you could use one more darker shade in there, because it seems a bit bland as it is. I Love your shading style, and i really look foreward to seeing more. This may sound stupid, but is the character male or female?

I can't really say much because it's so small, but it's really nice, i like the style. The only flaw i can point out is the feet, they seem a bit misshapen.

To Jambo, yes, i meant basecolours, and thanks, i guess.  Soon, i'll have more. As of now i'm working on a fighting-game type Arcah, and a few rpg-styled things, but for now i'm just trying to get the actual design set. My issues with it are really the head shape, and the hair, it was supposed to be more accurate, and the hair wasn't supposed to look flat to the head. I suppose i'll try again when i get better at pixelling the character.

Very, very nice.  I Like the colors you did end up choosing, they really brought out the asian theme. I am having a little trouble noticing specific details, especially on the arm, and fan, or at least i think that's a fan..
