This is so cozy!! If only they didn't drop the pixel art aspect for main series/spin off. It's so much more than just spec limitation and it can have a really proper identity on its own. It's realy great to see the potential of the GBC games come to life thanks to pieces like this. The Johto redrawn project is another example that comes to my mind, really reminescent of this "busy" yet organised artstyle. Now only fan games can save us. :p

Such a surreal concept. Great sense of depth for the background and I like the light being a bit turned off for the main characters as they exit the scene. :)

Very snappy, I like it! It looks like its right arm goes a bit lower than the left one which can lead to some inbalanced feel, but it's really minor. 

So fluid!! The reflection is a really nice touch.

Great clusters, almost gives it a painted effect. Surprised to see the use of green for the face shades, would have never thought of that and it works really well!  

Great smear! I could see the post-slash animation be a little quicker for a snappier effect, just my thought.
