 Who really cares what your mom thinks? Just enjoy halloween. Dress up, trick or treat, go to a party, whatever, it only comes once a year and life's to short to waste it.

 Your stuff has such a bubbly feel to it 

 It's got a lot of colors, but I like it. It's very mainstream, and as you know most mainstream art(as a general rule) dosent need color restrictions.

I'd advise you put more time into your pixels, focus on quality not quantity. I've noticed way to many of your pieces with this sub par attempted realism. If you want to draw humans learn some basic anatomy and color theory first. Sorry that sounded so blunt.

 Costumes are getting so un-original. I mean how many guys do you see cross dress on halloween? Way to friggin many.

 Yeah, on some level I agree with you but it's my personal opinion that pixel art should be simpler than PJ makes it out to be (look back to the days of super Mario bros and Pac Man) . Now I'm not shooting down your advice, the character could be cleaner, but I think that Pixel art should stay with its roots, and not become a sort of digital fine art like this site makes it out to be. No offence PJ
