I don't really like the way the apple moves into the reflection, i think it might look better if it is already there once the blade appears. anyway brillant idea, this would make a very good interactive logo.

Nice, but you shouldn't delay so much between the firing of the magic and opening of the mouth, it loses momentum.

You need to up the contrast on those whites just  a tad, especailly the darkest white. Nice peice, it has its own style to it. :)

How very cute, the main suggestion I'd like to make is to crank up the contrast on the white light spots for each guy.

I think this would benfit if you change the pallete in a few ways, Simplfy the pallete, some brown and yellows are too close, the usage of the background purple color to shade the dark parts of the rock does not look right, you should replace that area with a darker color. Also Skamocore is very right about using white on it. Overall pretty nice, And the smoke is really cool.

Perfection, Though if you feel like your up to it you could animate that fire.

Well about the contrast, in most sidescroller backgrounds I have seen Usually the farther away area has less contrast, and becomes faded...
