Well, as i dont know how to program a game on a true GB cartridge, if i make a game with this i't will be a pc game made with multimedia fusion 2...

But i think that mario in the first "marioland" on GB was not taller than my sprites ?

Andrio's sprite was the first that made me understand how the walking cycle works for an animation..

C'est mal dans le sens ou ce n'est pas vraiment du pixel art, tu ne controle pas vraiment la teinte des pixels en travaillant de cette façon.. De plus cela donne des ombrages et eclaircissements totalement inadaptés a une telle échelle (ce qu'on appelle aussi pillowshading).. cela donne l'impression que l'image est fade et aplatie...

Tu devrai utiliser une palette de couleur limités : cela aide a unifier la pièce.. Pose tes ombres et eclaircissement à la main.. Pour un petit vaisseu comme ça tu ne devrai pas utiliser plus de 16 couleurs. Ma recette pour une palette : un dégradé de gris en 4 couleurs pour les métaux et compagnie, une couleur de base pas trop saturée qui sera la couleur principale de ton dessin (dégradé de 6 couleur), et une a deux couleurs vives et contrastantes en dégradé de 3 couleurs, a utiliser avec parcimonie sur ton dessin..

Tu as de bonnes capacité en design, alors travaille juste un peu tes couleurs, ça fait énormément en pixel art. Je te conseille de beaucoup observer les sprites de vieux jeux nes, super nes et compagnie, afin de decrypter comment ils utilisent les couleurs. Pour les vaisseaux interesse toi au style "Dodonpachi" sur google tape "Dodonpachi ships", c'est un style au rêgles claires et facile a comprendre.. N'hésite surtout pas a copier un sprite pour récuperer ses couleurs et te crer une palette..

Other game boy sprites i've seen here do the same...

remember the old game boy : only black or white backgrounds..

Woh how many colors did you use ?? If you really did that by hand that was a big loss of time ! you dont need so many colors to shade.

(Woh combien de couleurs as-tu utilisé ?? Si tu as vraiment fait ça à la main quelle perte de temps ! tu n'as pas besoin d'autant de couleurs pour ombrer.)

Yes the first one have maybe too many eyes... and your right about the fact that the player must immediately reconize the ship to determine the threat during the game..

So i'll keep second and third row...

Ill keep the "eyes everywhere" concept for more organic ennemies..

Just a word about color... the blue ones are for space and sea levels, and the green one for land levels..
