I'm having a hard time understanding what you mean. I've read the section on pixel clusters. Do you mean the clusters are refined in the sense that some of them have jagged edges or is it something else? I normally work in Adobe Photoshop, just because I'm used to the hotkeys and the interface.I also use its brushes in various sizes and I use a tablet to create clusters, so I guess this could result in some slightly malformed clusters, if that is what you mean.

As an added note I really appreciate your kind words and advice.

I started working on this today:

Is this the direction I should be going in as far as technique goes? I tried to work more with the single pixel.

What makes it look unfinished?

It isn't a work in progress.

Having the eyes wrap around isn't totally necessary. The placement of the eyes is enough alone. If he added the eye wrap around all it would do is further cement the tilted feel, but that is already conveyed through placement instead of shape, and it works.

Yes, they are correct, look at the spacing inbetween, it is the same size as one eye. The face itself is at a tilt to the right. As a result, the eyes appear to be incorrectly spaced, obviously...

I'd disagree, the eyes are correctly proportioned. While its a matter of taste, I dont think thats the problem.  I think its because the nose doesn't have a line going up, and the hair is too long.

Connor, those are the standard rpgmakerxp proportions.

Awesome, and thanks for posting that video. I've learned a lot just by studying your technique.

These are really cool. But, you could have shifted the hue a little more.

The ladder is a bit slanted, and I actually just sort of put the dithering on the Health Bar for no reason.

Thanks for the comment.
