You'll notice from the photo that the right side of my face is very washed out with lamp light and the left side is highly shadowed so that's why my pixel version has the same effect.

Also I think the shading style works well on the guy but doesn't work so well on the horse, perhaps shading to look a bit more like fur could work? I really like the color scheme used here btw!

I wanted to get some pixel work up here ASAP so I could link to it within my introduction forum post so I suppose I uploaded some pixel work in a sloppy manner. I was not aware references were necessary for pixel work submissions here but I will take that into consideration. Will be altering the presentation of these portraits so that hopefully they will be accepted on here.
	breakfast @ 1/10/2013 11:10 commented on Interior Tileset The screen was taken within the program because at the time I wasn't aware of a way to export the tilesets done within the program (OHR R.P.G. CE). I would export them now but unfortunately the game file containing these tiles were lost to a computer virus. And thank you for your input about banding, I do recognize that now and have a clearer understanding of pixel art as a whole these days but still felt these tiles were worth sharing. I will adjust this screenshot and present it more as the actual tileset it was so hopefully I can resubmit it and have it accepted then.
