Thank you very much for saying so!

Very nice scanline dithering.
I'm inspired to try that out for a future piece of mine, but I don't want to copy someone so consciously!

I've done the minor tweak you suggested, and it looks less like her joint swings backwards. Thanks again! :)

Huh, I just noticed the pink artifacts now. XD

Perhaos some pixels you failed to erase, or accidental transparent pixels? Or it could also be the program you used for the animation, itself.

Thank you very much for taking the time to comment! Her free arm was actually pointing straight down in an earlier iteration, but a friend of mine told me that bending her elbow would look  "cooler".

I will try to rectify this when I have the time to do so. :)

I quite like this attack animation -- the motion gives the impression of fluid flow, while also appearing like a scratching motion.

The amount of detail I can see on the buildings is impressive. I like the "grainy" effect on them, it gives the semblance of diffused light from the windows.

Great choice of colour palette, too.

Thank you very much for granting me permission!

I'll be looking forward to seeing more pixel art from you in the future!

Gosh, I love how you do pixels!

I like both this version and the original, but the dramatic lighting and palette choices work very well with this piece. It's inspiring me to work on reducing the number of colours I work with for future projects.

Thank you as well, by the way, for your feedback on the deviantART version of my submission (I will respond to it eventually, but I blocked the site until I'm done with all my exams!)

I really like how you made this (bias for any depictions of Templar Knights aside.)

I hope you don't mind me using it as my avatar from the on-site option -- feel free to let me know if you'd rather I don't!

Good point! I didn't know about the auto-addition of a white background before now, either.

I would have commented on you not using blue for a Heisenberg poster, but I quite like your choice of colour scheme. :D

This is more appreciable against a light background. I don't blame you for that -- the only thing to blame is my brain, which tells me that those shades of fuchsia and the gray background of PixelJoint do not work well. The effect is still nice, though.

The attention to detail is impressive. The translation of the sketch into pixel art is really good, too.

I'm not entirely sure if you have to add a background, since there seems to be a stipulation regarding one-colour backgrounds here.

You did amazing with the knight. Although the relative simplicity of the clouds makes for a good contrast in details, I feel as though they are too simple, unless the intention was really to draw more attention to the knight.

Kudos, though! It's a shame that this was not allowed into the challenge. I've been lurking PixelJoint (and that challenge) before joining, and this would have been a good addition.

EDIT: I just realised that it was intended to be a 4 colour challenge -- only noticed other submissions with the same colour scheme a few moments ago. My apologies.

This is a good attempt (especially considering you've only started a week ago.)

There is fairly good contrast between the ground and the tortoise itself. The addition of a shade of pink makes the piece less monotone than if you stuck with the orange and yellow.

I feel, however, that the specific shade of pink you chose for the sky does not seem to go very well with the clouds.

Hoping to see you make more pixel art for this community.
