Thank you very much for the feedback! Yes I did it in photoshop, where I admittedly cheated with filters and such. Actually I would appreciate it if you could tell me because I don't quite know; what is the reason for restricting pixel art to as few colours as possible? Is that just how pixel art is defined as - placing each pixel/colour by hand? If so I will try to be not so lazy next time haha.
