I figured that the volume of Dr. Light's belly would shadow the lower half of the labcoat. You might have a point though, I'll look into it.

I did my best to follow your advice. I don't know if it's cartoony enough, but I do think it looks much better now.

The helmet was indeed difficult and that's the best I can get it to look.

The sprite already has 16 colors, I don't have room for tones of purple. Changing the tones of blue would affect the entire sprite and determining the palette was troublesome enough. A purple hue on the white parts would also contrast poorly with the blue ones.

I personally figured that since the plugs are parallelled flat surfaces, the lightsource would be the same as well as the shading.

I tweaked one of the chest bolts slightly. If that's not enough, I'm open to suggestions.

I lengthened the legs.

I did what I could to fix that problem. How does it look now?

Fire would need to be animated, and if I animated this one, I'd have to animate all the others. It would be easy enough to animate some of them, but the likes of Concrete Man would be very time consuming.

Magma Man is already considerably larger than Mega Man in this style. At the time of this post, the size of each MM9 Robot Master is up to interpretation, so my only concern was making sure their proportioning was faithful to official art; this solution worked out nicely, since the size pretty much determined itself. Magma Man doesn't need to have Concrete Man's size to look bulky and intimidating.

You do have a point about the angle of the cannons and I made adjustments to them. Hopefully they look better now.

Thanks for the compliment, but MMX? As I commented in my submission of Concrete Man, the intent is to follow MM8 style.

And an awesome weapon, too.

If you have any suggestions on how to make him look more dynamic, Seven, I'm all ears. I did the best I could.

Glad you liked the design overall, Seven. As for the helmet, I envisioned the blue line as being transparent in front of his eyes, so he could still see (although I didn't decide if it's made of glass or some other material). And I thought it gave the helmet a unique style, until the Robocop jokes came up...

I did further edits according to the comments, as a result, the color count rose to 16.

Thanks to Seven, BBD and Macks for the support, and there are no hard feelings about the suspicion.

I've been considering giving Strike more of a "mecha" style recently. Any opinions on the matter?
