This week you are tasked with pixelling a monster from the list below combined with one of four genres/themes. Your entry can be anything from a comic, to a mockup, to a full-body portrait; just as long as both monster and genre are clear.

Going LARGE.

Ooh this looks fun. And hard. I most likely won't win, but I have an idea.

My WIP so far,

It's supposed to be Vampire/War but I don't know if the war genre needs to be stressed more in this, and if so I'm not quite sure how.

I like the war one.  Mines comin' along alright, but I'm afraid the backround will be a bit tricky. Wish me luck. EDIT: He's in love with a plant. very romantic. hoping to make the heart beat.

I think if you swapped the far right native with the far left native it would feel a little more balanced. Currently there is a little too much green on the right-ish side.
Also not a huge fan on the mouth on the leftmost Native mummy. It might look better without it perhaps?
And the shoes and hats (specifically the cow-boys) might need some work (but it is a wip, it just looks a little funky right now.)
(Am I brave enough to critique our lord and master? )

@crozier, if I didn't want critique and feedback I wouldn't post the WIPs here, right? :D (plus I'd have totally submitted the version with the typo error cause I no speak english very well)

anyways, your comments are all valid points. I don't know about changing the hats and shoes though (I intentionally made them flat and as simple as possible), but the color balance on the whole could use some, well, balancing :)

I will try to be cleaner next time.
Need a lot to learn about shade and AA.
But i like it :)

I'm going to add a background. I hope I'll get it done in time...
