Cure, Stava and everybody that helped on the following topics:
Like your style.
Looks very unfinished...
I love your style, despite all the flaws with it.
The bg might be a little... impressionistic, but that jacket is freaking awesome. Also, glowing blood hand! Now this is a *real* vampire.
I really want to see the animated version in the forum finished, with the flowing jacket. Apparently I like jackets.
Very nice love the colors and lighting.
Colours are wonderful, cast is awersome) it really needs to be finished, but a week is too short period of time for such a serious work
This piece looks pretty awesome, but I must agree that it seems unfinished. If I were you I would spend tons of time detailing until it's 100% complete :P. You could add some hue shifting in darker areas as well.
Losm has a point, don't worry so much about weekly challenges and time restrictions and dedicate yourself to polishing a piece until it shines. You can always post an update once voting has finished.
You can still update it, no? I'd love to see your edit. :D
as expected... didnt had time to update it :/
Yeah, as I always say I am blind when the topic is my art. I woke up today and had a look at it and it definitely needs some improvement on the detailes pointed out. Cure, can you hold on a bit before posting? I will update it.
Agree with cure. It's so frustrating to see both the awesomeness and the sloppiness of this at the same time. It can be a very valid style choice to keep large areas of the piece undetailed so as to help focus on the important parts, but undetailed is not unfinished.
Make less pieces and spend more time on them, you lazy boy you!
You need to work on the bg's some more, this one is really plain, but I'm guessing you didn't have time?
Keep up the great work :)
i love your style of color
Gotta agree with Friend's comments at Pixelation, it'd be better for you to work at a more mangable size than to create large pieces with big sloppy areas. This is a good start for a piece, but doesn't read as 'finished' in any way, the background in particular is very distracting.
