CHALLENGE: The RPG Party

This week you are challenged to create an original RPG Party consisting of four character sprites. All four sprites must be placed on the same canvas and separated by transparency.

Your party must contain exactly four from this list:

• The warrior
• The healer
• The mage
• The thief
• The inventor
• The pet/creature

You may incorporate some elements from different stereotypes into a charatcer, but each character must primarily relate to one of the above archetypes.

Please clearly mention in your description which characters are in your party.

Canvas Size - Max 200 x 200.
Colours - Max 32. Including transparency.
Transparency - Required. Must be used to separate each sprite.
Animation - No.

CHALLENGE RULES

• Participants have until this upcoming Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) to submit their entry (strict). Don't forget to check the 'Submit to weekly challenge' checkbox.
• Only new pixels allowed.
• Open to all members.
• Posting WIPs in this thread or in new threads in the WIP section is highly encouraged, but ONLY SUBMIT YOUR FINAL ART.

• Every Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) the previous week's entries are judged.
• Every week a new voting poll will be posted for previous week's entries.
• Winner announced the following week.

Sorry for making this more complicated than it is.

Warrior+Mage+Inventor+Pet(maybe).

No no no... not like that. The background needs to be transparent. As in completely see through. As in you need to be able to see the colours of the website behind it.

Thief/mage, Warrior/creature, and inventor. And I'm gonna have to stick something else in there to reach the 4 person quota. xD

This is my first post here ever. I don't expect to win, but I've been doing a bunch of pixel art - newbie stuff - and I love this site. Feedback appreciated, but really it's just great to finally be producing something.

Improved the mage. He is now clearly elfin. Altered the position of my warrior. Might try to give him more action. I like my thief the way he is. Will probably add a creature and work on the warrior from here on out. Any suggestions welcome.

@Paulo Peres; your idea is really awesome.

started working an a spell effect for the mage, tweaked the thief a little, gave the warrior a shield and turned his halberd back upright, because I think it looks heftier that way. I think "creature" shall be next...

I scrapped my mage (for now) because I didn't like how he turned out.

So now we've got an inventor in his place!

Started my PET RHINO, positioned the guys, and changed the colors of the warrior once again. He looks very static - I may have to give him an action pose. Too bad I cant't have him riding the rhino (against the rules - must be separated by transparency).

Gorilla Warrior done!

next challenge should be the final boss!

@Sergiotron: You could have the pet character be human.

@sergiotron; I was really wondering how you would manage 4 characters with the ape theme but now I see it as a great idea. Hope you can find the time to color them.
