From left to right: Mage, warrior, thief, healer.
Optional background story: Jarreau, a notorious thief, is popular with the ladies because of his flamboyant character (and elegeant moustache), but his recklessness got his companions and himself into trouble again. Having purloined a large bag of gold ducats from a local slave trader, he is lucky to escape from the guards with a only wound in his arm. Warrior-prince Al'Kazim, whose life he saved in one of his breakneck adventures, is rushing off to throw back his pursuers, whom Kavorn, a Gnomish mage from the nearby hills, is barely managing to hold back while their ship is getting ready to leave harbour. Tending Jarreau's wound is Theophrastus Sonorus, a priest, scholar and healer who rather hopelessly tries to win over Al'Kazim (and his tribe of nomads) to join his faith by displaying the healing powers granted to him by his deity.
