Hi, The name is Morten, but most people call me Mort, I've been doing very little pixel art over the corse of a year now, but around September early 2013, I really got into pixel art, mostly game related artwork though. like Tileset, and characters.
I mostly enjoy making very bright and Cartoonish art, that have a sort of random and cute look to it.
Sort of like Mother/EarthBound, Kirby, Mario, Sonic, and etc. In general just games I grew up with.
I haven't 100% found my Pixel Art style yet, but I'm getting there, You can probably tell I've been inspired a bit by other Artists now and then, but I try to not make the inspiration carry too much over, and go for my own thing.
I joined Pixel Joint becaue I'm very interrested in Pixel art and after getting more into it I spend way too much time opserving, creating and reading up on it, and because I feel like most other sites you don't really get the feedback you might be looking for, such as DeviantART, it's a lot of "AWW CUTE" or "COOL!".
Anyway haven't been on the site long but already really enjoying it!
