Scary things happen when you leave the ground and try to defy gravity...

Canvas:     32 x 32
Colours:    8
Frames:    104 Frames
Time:        During the 18th and 25th January

I love the fairy tale of the red riding hood! Therefore the Little Red Riding Hood weekly challenge was just the right moment to do something inspired by this fairy tale!

Sadly I was out of time around the end, so there might be some spots I still would like to polish.

Waynaul pretty much said what I wanted to say (althrough for me it would have taken far more words to come to the conclusion ;D)

Good work! (would have been better with a few explosions through )

(I think I find the wolf a tid bit cuter than the girl)

awesome :)

I'm glad you managed to finish it on time! The characters are really cute, and the animation is really well done! I love the part where she is converting into the wolf, and I like the part where the wolf converts to her, though I didn't expect it to be gorey like that XD.

The transformation has both a cute and creepy feel to it.  It's an original and challenging idea, and I think you did a great job in expressing it.

Great! I am glad it was no disappointment for you, CritiqueMyWork : )

Anything special you like about it?

Lakelezz (Level 2 Quiet One) @ 1/25/2016 01:26

Hehe, I am glad it could live up your expectations, Manupix : )

I fixed those frames. Honestly I just missed them out, it was quite weird to see them this morning.

The 0.03ms delay was on purpose. Maybe you can think of some idea how characters die and their movement starts to stutter or trying to grasp for something the very last minute? That was my intention at least : O The wolf feeling the girl coming up his throat, slowly realising what happens, then he dies.

I got some sleep : ) Thanks xD Though when I was in bed, I checked my piece again and saw there were two border pixels missing on the preview's letter "K". Therefore I downloaded some app and the preview... I just had to fix it.

Hey waynaul! Thanks a lot! Anything you like in particular?

CritiqueMyWork (Level 8 Rear Admiral) @ 1/25/2016 00:28

Yep, the preview promised fun on click and it delivered.

Manupix (Level 11 Godfather) @ 1/24/2016 23:07

Well I expected something special, and I'm not disappointed =)

There are still a few frames at 0.01" but I don't think they matter much. However the 0.3" delay for frames 75 to  82 makes the head raising very choppy. It looks fluid at 0.1" but probably happens too fast for your intention.

Hope you got some sleep XD

I got a kick out of that animation.  Well done!
