This is my interpretation of the first time Snake and Otacon met. I know it's not really how it went down but i think its a good way to remember it.

The inspiration to this piece was this awsome art by Ghoul Bag and this fantastic drawings by Ashley Davis.

I also used "Jason Mercado Pixelart Palette".

The font's pixel ratio is 1x while the characters are 2x. Makes this piece a little hard on the eye.

I dig the cartoony style.

@Kilenc Thanks for your comment, they're always very appreciated!

@Zizka Hey! thank for saying mi piece have potential. I get why you say it look unfinished, but it wasn't because i got tired of working on it, it's just that it's my first time doing animation so i have a lot to learn. Also i agree that the standing animations isn't great, i really want tho improve it but i don't really know how but i'm going to work on it. Thanks for saying all of that, you give me a lot of thing to check and improve on.

While it looks good, it seems unfinished. I get the impression you got tired of working on it and submitted. This is too bad because this is bursting with potential. The animation feels a little cheap (the 2 pixel movement up and down). I think this is a good opportunity to push yourself animation wise. The characters look lovely!

Keep at it!

The bandana definetely works now, good work :)

Thanks for your comment Kilenc! One of the hardest part of animating this was syncing the mouth movement with the words.

I'm glad you think Otacon looks good, i just tried to keep a consistent style.

Also you are absolutely right about the bandana animations, it was really crappy, thanks to you i realized that it was missing a couple of frames so i add them and change the top half of it to make it look more natural. Hope it look better now.

animation conveys talking really well, and the style on Otacon is amazing just like Snake's. only one small nitpick is that the animation of Snake's headband is a bit off because the base of the top half doesn't move and because the animation betrays the loop (ie, the frames jump). Other than that, perfect :)
