Yeah I thought to add some at least to the edges but it seemed fine kept oversimplified.

The water could have maybe used some implied "texture", but I can see how that might have not fit your style restrictions.

Haha it's totally okay, just not my taste :D. But I'm sure the colors are awesome for a lot of people, just like the entire map =).

Thank you Shikate. Perhaps you like the alternate palette more; I had a hard time picking which one to post. The pink one was the file I worked in, I just thought the pink water would throw off viewers a bit too much.

I'm not a fan of adding so much of blue but the map is still magical :)
