Only downside: It is a lot of effort that can go wrong. Colour combinations and so on, determining the degree of motion blur one wants to depict, is hard to pull off.

Fine work incorporating motion blur to the vehicle. It's the first time I've seen it done in that fashion.

If this really is to be 300 x 250, isn't this to be too big to that the challenge suggests. ~300 x 200 horizontially or vertically.

But despite that, really nice work. :)
